Don't Forget Your Fiber
Author:Dr. Larry Milam

Everyone is familiar with the word fiber. But to truly understand its importance in our diet we must first understand the basics.

Fiber is an indigestible complex carbohydrate found in plants. It is classified into two types - Insoluble and Soluble. Insoluble fiber can be found in fruits, vegetables, dried beans, wheat bran, seeds, popcorn, brown rice, and whole grain products such as breads, cereals, and pasta. Water Soluble fiber is in fruits such as apples, oranges, pears, peaches, prunes, grapes, and vegetables, seeds, oat bran, dried beans, oatmeal, barley, and rye.

New Spirit Naturals offers a GREAT FIBER PRODUCT!

Magic Fiber-CLR™ is a great source of fiber every day. It consists of a unique patented blend of natural soluble dietary fiber (90%) that has been produced in such a manner to make it virtually resistant to human digestion. It is tasteless and odorless and is clear when mixed with water or any beverage. This makes it a great source of fiber for small children. It does not thicken as bulk forming fibers do (such as NutriCleanse) making it easy to drink throughout the day or while you are on the go.

- Magic Fiber-CLR™ helps maintain healthy levels of serum cholesterol and blood triglycerides and may reduce high levels of blood triglycerides.

- Magic Fiber-CLR™ effectively retains levels of HDL (good) cholesterol. This potentially impacts the incidence of coronary heart disease and related disease.

As a water-soluble fiber, Magic Fiber-CLR™, can effectively promote the growth of a variety of beneficial bacteria (naturally occurring or ingested as probiotics in the colon.) In promoting the growth of beneficial bacteria, Magic Fiber-CLR™ indirectly reduces the presence of undesirable bacterial species.

Magic Fiber-CLR™ can be incorprated in to food. It can be heated and cooked with no maillard reaction (browning).

Magic Fiber-CLR™ is fat free, cholesterol free and has only one net carb per serving
